TIpsy's is a what any city dweller would call a neighborhood bar; everyone knows everyone, and if they don't, they soon will! We haven't eaten there yet, but judging by the amount of food coming out of the kitchen, and the amount of takeout going out the door, we will have to soon..
Located on corner, next to a little urban park, Tipsy's has nice shady outdoor seating area overlooking the tree lined street. Inside, the brick walls, high ceilings, and huge windows speak of a bygone era. The curved bar welcomes conversation, and the staff was immediately welcoming, as were the patrons seated there. People moved over to make room for us, and were genuinely curious as to where we were from, what brought us here, and where we were headed.
The bar serves drafts on tap, and according to the bartender, changes them frequently. All on tap during our visits so far have been premium microbrews-with not a domestic in the bunch, although there are plenty of bottled offerings as well.
Tipsy's offers food specials daily, Happy Hour from 3-6, and different entertainment options during the evenings. Definitely a good stop!
