We asked in the bar if the museum upstairs was ever open because a sign on the door said "Closed". The bartender graciously took us on a tour (donations only). It is on the National Register of Historic Places - there is a sign to that effect out front - but calling it a museum was a stretch. Only one room was furnished like it would have been back when the folks around rode in from miles around (on mules, so goes the story) The modern name is a takeoff on the original name of Jack*** Junction (see mural painted on the side of the Inn right by the door) and was changed to Yeehaw Junction when the Turnpike was built. We did enjoy seeing that one room and listening to stories of the haunts that still occupy the place. Several other rooms were filled with old timey equipment and signs in various states of repair . This is an interesting, short,(about 20 minute) historical stop just off the Turnpike south of Orlando, if you are in the area.
