This is a nice, grown up restaurant.
The interior is very nice. It's not a huge place. But it has a number of fairly private sofa equipped conversation pits. And, the entire interior is upscale. Nicely finished.
The food is very good. There are a number of small plates always on the menu with a few specials each day. The tuna was fabulous. The pulled pork potato skins -- haven't seen these on any other menu -- were very tasty. And while sauteed calamari is not pretty -- likely why it isn't served that way many places -- it is very good. Good selection of beer, wine, and liquor.
Service was prompt and professional. Waitstaff know the menu and can make great recommendations.
Great atmosphere. Low lighting, but not dark. Tasteful furnishings and accents. Appropriate music at appropriate volume (with live entertainment most, if not all, nights).
There are fast food places to take the kids after LegoLand right across the street. There's a place the college kids seem to like right next door. This is a great grown up alternative.
