We ate here for brunch. We were on our way to Legoland, and decided to stop in to have Brunch so as to keep on budget with our vacation.
It's a small place right off of SR 17. There's a bar, and plenty of seating. The place has a homey Italian feel. The waitress was very friendly. She even pointed out that coupons were available in the coupon magazines at the entrance. We ordered their calzones ($8) , and my kids had pasta and pizza from the kids' menu ($5). The calzones were awesome. You get to pick 2 items as fillings, and with the coupon, we were able to get the other calzone at half price.
No complaints from the kids on their food. Service was fast, and she checked on us often.
After our day was done in Legoland, we went back here to eat dinner. New waitress on shift, and she was covering the bar and the tables. The food was just as good at dinner as it was early in the day. The service was a little rude, but we understood that this was bec. this young lady was working really hard to meet everyone's needs. There were 2 customers who walked in after closing time, and she was nice enough to let them in to dine. I think she is a good waitress who was just having a bad night.
This was a good place to eat. And if we're ever back in Winter Haven again, we will definitely be stopping by.
