This hotel has a nice exterior appearance, but the rooms are kind of dumpy on the inside...in dire need of rehab. We had called in advance to determine its proximity to Legoland and were told that it was immediately across the street. That proved to be true to an extent. However, the ENTRANCE to Legoland was a good half mile away and made for a long walk. The Hotel does offer a complimentary hot breakfast. Restaurants are within walking distance.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the pool if you want any hope of ambiance.

Negative first - the breakfast is absolutely horrible! There is more than enough room to create a quality offering but we ended up walking out quickly after just a few bites.

For Legoland visits this location is amazing since the hotel is actually closer to the rear of the park than even the parks actual parking lot! The rooms were pretty good and they are definitely making renovations. It was nice to have a fridge and micro. The pool is large but un-heated so definitely don't plan on going in at night.

Room Tip: Nearly every other room was under renovation so location didn't really matter.

Had a reservation, arrived 3:15 pm day of reservation, was informed by non friendly clerk that check in was not till 4:00 pm, I thought about that a second and ask her what time was check out , was informed it was 11:00 am, so you're paying for 24 hrs, but not allowed to stay in room but 18 hrs, is that right? She immediately went to get her non friendly assist. mgr, easy to see where the problem comes from here.He was suddenly able to come up with room realizing I wasn't going top back off. Got in room to find a worn out junk room, electrical so worn I phone charger would even stay plugged in, just fall out, Absolutely last stay here.

Room Tip: Try another hotel.

You've seen all the other reviews. People complain about the cleanliness or the age of the hotel often. To me, this place is perfectly fine for a trip to LEGOLAND. First off, I got the room for $80. Preferred parking at LEGOLAND is $25.00, so once you subtract that from the room cost, your stay (per night) is only $55.00. That's a fair price to me.

The room was clean, no insects or other grossness. The bathroom may be a bit rough looking just due to its age, but otherwise clean. I stayed on the 5th floor of the main building above the lobby. We had a pool view which was nice. The pool is huge and we enjoyed swimming in it. There is even a kids zone with games and a bar/lounge.

The best part was the sidewalk that runs from the hotel's front door to LEGOLAND's entrance. You can't beat a 10 minute walk to save $25.00 on parking.

Overall, would definitely stay again.

I reserved a poolside room with2 queen beds onlinefor $300.40...when we got there we were given a room with two double beds that faced the parking lot. We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was falling apart. So far, we have been charged $879.56 and have only been refunded $128.69. Do yourself a favour and stay anywhere but here!!!

This hotel is old and falling apart which might not have bothered me so much if it had been clean. At $140 for a night it was way overpriced. Forget about aesthetics; this is a bed to sleep in (with earplugs) if you must and a place to shower if you dare. Our room had the basics: two small beds, a table with two chairs, television, closet, iron, ice bucket, coffee pot on the bathroom sink counter, separate room with shower & tub. Forget about room to spread out, or anything that inspires the word amenity. The main door had to be pulled hard to close and would wake anyone in rooms on that level (noticed that about other rooms). There was no obvious outdoor social area within view of the room – just a narrow sidewalk and a dark, busy parking lot, which left no quiet area or feeling of privacy when traveling with a child. There were cobwebs around the ceiling and grey dust & hair balls on the floor, even in the corners of the bathroom. The bathroom had visible mold and mildew at cracks and spotted on the shower ceiling. The toilet spit back on the seat upon flushing. The bathroom door was poorly insulated and there was no fan. The shower was very difficult to turn on and the tub filled with greywater while showering (and stayed full for the next person!). I had a difficult time sleeping on the small hard bed while wondering how clean the sheets were and listening to constant noise outside. We did not stay for breakfast.

Room Tip: Stay in Haines City!
