I recently traveled to Wilton Manors / Fort Lauderdale with my partner and gaggle of three single friends. We choose Ed Lugo Resort because of it's central location, full service resort style and beautiful setting. The other Trip Advisor reviews confirmed the feeling I got from the company Web site, and we were not disappointed! From the moment we arrived on the property we were treated like kings. This is the perfect location for a couple, group of couples, singles, and couples traveling with single friends. There is something for everyone! We had the chance to stay in a 2 bedroom villa and a 1 bedroom suite. Both were fantastic, but having a full kitchen in the villa was true luxury and added convenience. Ed Lugo was a gracious host and his right-hand man "Mike" took wonderful care of us - waiting on us hand and foot. Ed, Mike and their "left-hand woman" Lourdes filled us in on where to go, and where NOT to go in town - never steering us wrong. Wilton Manors has so much to offer in terms of shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Visitors should research Wilton Manors and understand its gay-centric culture and community. Ed Lugo Resort is centrally located right in the middle of all the action, but remains a true oasis in the "Island City." Every time we came "home" and walked into the backyard it was paradise all over again! It is the small details that really make the experience: fresh flowers, plush towels, luxury robes, chaise lounge covers, hammock pillows, ice cold soda - water - beer, snacks in the rooms... just to name a few! We will definitely be back!

First time at Ed Lugo resort and already looking forward to return again. You cant beat the location. Ed and Mike and the rest of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The neighborhood was very safe you could walk to most places on wilton drive. We rented a car and only used ¼ tank of gas. We walked mostly everywhere. The bed was extremely comfortable. And the pool was phenomenal. thanx for the great stay. Joe and Mike

I enjoyed my stay at Ed Lugo's Resort. Ed Lugo is very pleasant and makes you feel right at home. Mike is extremely attentive always making sure that you have everything you need in your Suites. The resort has a calm and serene atmosphere its like a piece of heaven, and when your in the mood for some nightlife when its within walking distance to the Restaurants and Bar scene. I really enjoyed my stay thanks to Ed Lugo and Mike who made me feel extremely welcomed.
