“Share to FB worthy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

Our goal on vacation is to eat local and unique. This place was amazing! As soon as we walked in all the kids sighed "wow". It is the epitemy of southern charm. I was concerned it was going to be expensive because of the atmosphere, real China and real linens. My other concern was....crap, this is not for kids and we are going to feel out of place. I was wrong on both accounts. We have four kids under 10 years old and they loved it there. The cook even made a hamburger for my son even though it wasn't on the menu! The pricing is higher than we expected based off of reviews. Average plate price $15-24. Kids meals$6. We usually try to eat much cheaper due to our large family but the portions were so large we were all able to share food and have a bill of $49 for two adults and four kids. The food was so unique and the presentation makes you want to become a foodie and upload pictures of your meal. We are definitely going again!

“Charming southern restaurant in a lovely setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

We were visiting friends in the villages and decided to try this place for lunch. The decor is very quaint with old southern memorabilia all throughout. The service was prompt. The food was unique and delicious. The desserts were plentiful and lovely. The sweet potatoe fries were the best we have ever had.

“Great food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

We have eaten at this reataurant many times and enjoy the food. We have a Bed & Breakfast (Bushnell B&B) and we always recommend this place for a birthday or anniversary celebration. The food is good and save room for the home made three layer cakes. Nice place to visit.

“A Special Treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

This small place is in a tiny corner building that in another lifetime was the local bank! We were on a driving trip through the South, my wife has a relative living in The Villages, not far from Wildwood, and we met at the Cotillion for lunch. Before it opened, there was a line waiting to get in. No disappointments. The food is quintessential southern cooking, beautifully done and presented, and the prices are very reasonable. If we ever go to that area again, I hope the Cotillion is still in business.

“Southern cuisine at its finest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

My husband and I made the trek from The Villages to Cotillion based on other TripAdvisor reviews, and we weren't disappointed! He was a skeptic when he saw the shabby chic decor and long line-ups, but changed his tune when our food arrived. We loved our pulled pork and chicken & waffles. Both were fabulous, and just the right amount of food to fill you up without overdoing it. We saved room for take-away desserts which were amazing - their cakes are incredible!

Even on Monday, later into the dinner hour, we were lucky to get a seat. I would suggest making a reservation if you can.
