“Ontario review”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

The best Italian restaurant that we have visited in a long time. The sauces on our pasta dishes were exceptional. The service could not have been any better. Wish this establishment was 1700 miles closer to home.

“Wonderful visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013 via mobile

We stopped by for a dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The service was great and the food was fantastic. We had lentil soup ("this is great- try some"), shrimp parmigiana ("these shrimp are huge"), fried calamari (some of the best I have ever had, extremely tender), and linguine with white clam sauce (this was simply huge, well presented and tasted fantastic.)

Enough said, a simply awesome meal and when we took some to go, they even gave us fresh warm rolls to go.

Thanks Lirio's!

“Both ok and very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

My husband and I had lunch here first and were a little disappointed with the salads which were very ho-hum. But a few nights later we ordered pizza to go and it was fabulous. Good crust, spicy sauce and fresh ingredients!

“Nice place, good food excellent service”

Food was very good (for Florida). Service was great and our server, Hector, was a pleasure. Recommend if you are in the area.

“Be selective”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

This rating is an average of an excellent plate of Pappardelle al Funghi (homemade noodles with fresh porcini mushrooms and sherry wine cream sauce) and a barely edible oversalted dish of Linguini Vongole ("fresh"" middle neck clams sauteed in a white clam sauce over linguini). After I complained to the waiter that this first clam plate was extremely salty and unacceptable, he took it back to the kitchen and returned with new pasta and the same oversalted clams, still barely edible. The clams tasted canned. I would not order a clam dish from here again. But the mushroom & pasta plate, the Pasta E Fagioli, the house salad, the Caesar salad, coffee were very good. And the free dipping sauce (olive oil saturated with a mixture of minced garlic and herbs) served with Italian bread served at the start was outstanding, the best I've ever had! Its taste closely resembled a good dish of escargot in a fine French restaurant.
