“Mostly for take away food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

Tasty food, but the veggie plates could use more variety of vegetables. Better to take the food home and add your own stuff to it. Brown rice is available. The folks are friendly. It's really a take away place with a couple of tables. That's OK, except that everything is packaged for carry-out even if you're eating in, which means tons of plastic that could be recycled going to the landfill. Come on, folks, you can do better than that! RECYCLE!

“A Fusion of Healthy, Fast, & Multicultural Foods”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

Discovering a contemporary, healthy-food, restaurant with fast-food service in a larger U.S. metropolis would be fairly unremarkable. However, as of a couple of weeks ago, modest-sized West Palm Beach, FL had the good fortune to add such an establishment. “Fresh Elements,” is located in the relatively “yuppified” Villages of Palm Beach Lakes. (Let's hope this trend bodes well for the changing style of the Palm Beaches.) It's an attractive, intimate place in the relatively sprawling Village Commons. Expect to find an open kitchen with a service counter, along with a few inside and outside tables.

Whole-food fans will definitely feel at home with a menu that features steamed veggies, brown rice, acai juice, and bottled water. But that's just the start of the culinary excursion. For the most part, the amiable staff is outgoing and will gladly guide you through the innovative menu. Whatever you order, expect top-notch, organic, vegetables steam preparation to minimize fat and maximize micro-nutrients.

So far, you may be wondering: “So what's new here?” What impresses me is the eclectic assortment of cuisines available at one, unassuming, location including Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Latin American, and California Contemporary. Take, for example, the Thai Grilled Chicken Wrap which not only ingrates (most of) the aforementioned Asian cuisines, but also includes Latin-inspired salsas. Personally, I recommend the Pad Tai with veggies and tofu. I also like the Element Vegetarian Wrap. However, if all else fails, just request anything vegan. I have to give a brief mention to the Bento boxes for diners in a rush. By investing only about 5 to 10 minutes and about $10, one can compose and gormandize your own fresh and eclectic box-lunch. The only item I found to avoid so far are the steamed buns.

After you select your meal, you have another choice remaining. There is an attractive patio where you can dine outside at a leisurely pace. Alternatively, one can speedily grab a lunch box packed to go. Finally, delivery can be requested within a certain radius.

In short, “Fresh Elements offers creative healthy cuisine at value prices and good service. Almost everyone should find something appealing in the variety of ingredients and preparation styles.
