The South Florida Science Museum is an attraction for all ages. I attended with my 90 year old father and he loved it. There are exhibits on the natural history of Florida, a wonderful and beautiful aquarium and a planetarium all under one roof. The surrounding grounds are manicured lawn with many picnic areas with sun shelters. On our first trip there we found out that the museum would be presenting a Titanic artifacts exhibit the following week, so we went back. The artifacts exhibition was interesting and well laid out. There was a gift shop for Titanic themed purchases, as well as the science themed shop. The museum was easy to find off a main road. On Wednesday afternoons they have a reduced senior entrance fee, $5.00 between the hours of 2-5pm. Plenty of free parking close to the museum building. I plan to take my grandsons on their next visit to Florida. I'm sure they will love and will leave with new knowledge.
