Pho 16 is a nice blend of old and new, Vietnamese and American, and the staff tries their best to please. They have mastered the McDonald-ization of a Vietnamese tradition, pho, which we eat three times a day, whenever we get a chance. The rice noodles are cooked al dente to perfection, the meat is sliced thin and unlike most Americanized other pho place, do not overpower the broth and the noodles, and the amount of basil, bean sprouts and lime served is just perfect, not wasteful. The different types of fresh sping rolls are excellent as well as other appetizers, big enough to share. And if you ever decide to try something else beside pho, there are 4 other types of noodles to sample as well as 3 regional varieties of Vietnamese cooking, Add the rice dishes which highlight the flavor of traditional Asian spices and healthy organic ingredients, and you are in for a surprisingly affordable business lunch or quick evening breakaway from home.
