We went here a couple times right after it opened and were quite pleased. We had a craving for Italian food the other night and went here again. BIG MISTAKE.
My husband and I were shocked to see they made changes to their menu, they removed quite a few dishes. The prices weny WAY up! Another shock.
I always get the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, without prosciutto, as I don't eat meat. The menu doesn't state the ingredients, but from past visits, I know it's in there. Imagine my surprise when it arrived with huge pieces of bacon in it! Our server, James, was really on point. I explained the issue and he said that they took the prosciutto out of my dish as requested, but with the menu changes, the menu doesn't mention that they added any other meat. He sent it back and I received my corrected dish quickly.
Our main issue was refills of water. They have a young man walking around filling water glasses, but it looked like he would have rather been anywhere but at work. He walked by our empty glasses several times, even looked at them, and never filled them. I knew our table number was 31 because I heard a co-worker tell the young man that table 31 needed water, then BAM, he appeared at our table. At one point, he walked to the table across from ours, filled their water glasses and then walked the complete opposite direction from our table to avoid filling ours. My husband got tired of waiting so he went to the counter and took the pitcher and refilled our glasses himself. One of the servers saw this so we explained why. Two minutes later the young man came over to our table, without a pitcher of water mind you, and snottily asked if we wanted water. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
We saw the manager, Fran, walking around asking how people's dining experiences were and she got to a corner table, started talking and then ended up sitting down with them to continue talking some more. I guess she really didn't care that our experience was less than pleasant. Maybe it was because we aren't regulars or maybe it was because we didn't look worthy of asking.
So, totally inflated prices...$18 for Rigatoni Alla Vodka??? RIP-OFF. A manager that only cares to talk to people she's familiar with and a young man with an attitude problem who doesn't do his job. 3 strikes, they are out of our restaurant rotation.
