My family and I just returned from a weekend stay (7/29/06) at the Hampton Inn in Vero Beach. The hotel is located right off of I-95, right witin walking distance of the Vero Beach Outlet Mall. It is also located right next door to a Cracker Barrel Restaurant and a short walk to McDonalds and Steak and Shake. There is also a Subway, and another fast food restaurant located within the outlet mall.

The hotel room was a little larger than a standard room, equipped with two comfortable beds, mini refrigerator, table and chairs, flat screen TV with premium cable channels, FREE long distance and local calls, and other standard hotel amentities.

The pool area was nothing to write home about, but good enough to escape the Florida heat.

The hotel did provide a nice breakfast in the morning (egg patties, sausage patties, muffins, bagels, bread, cereals, fruit, coffee and teas). In the afternoon, they had a nice assortment of snacks consisting of fresh-baked cookies, a variety of chips, granola bars, fruit, juices and waters, coffee and teas.

The staff was friendly and would recommend this hotel for anyone needing a place to stay for a day or two in Vero Beach.

Rooms are big and clean, Coffee is fantastic!! Breakfast was good.
The Manager, Scott is awesome and very helpful. (I had left my sweatshirt at the hotel and the staff was very helpful)

Very Nice..clean, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Reasonable cost..the room was clean and the continental breakfast was a nice added bonus. I would definitely visit the Hampton Inn again.

We've stayed in many of these mid priced hotels but this on had it all going.The rooms were spotlessly clean with everything you needed, including free internet and free local and long distance calls.The complimentary continental breakfast included fresh orange juice ,egg patties ,waffles and a breakfast meat.The entire staff was very pleasant.On our 2nd day the hot water system was down for a few hours and when we returned later on there was a letter of apology for the inconvenience along with free cookies and soft drinks.The manager then took 50% off our bill.It's almost unheard of in these days of lousy customer service to be treated so well.Kudos to Hampton Inn--do yourself a favor and give this place a try.
