“comfortable casual”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

We ate at Bobby's twice in late Sept 2013. Since we were in Vero for only 10 days we wanted to try some of the Island restaurants and spotted Bobby's from the street and decided to give them a try. What a good find. We had the steak sandwich which turned out to be a NY sirloin on a flatten bun. The steak was done perfectly (since I expected sliced I ordered rare) . They came with fries (regular or sweet potatoes) and a salad. I also ordered a side of gravey expecting to put it on the sandwich and instead dipped my fries in it. The gravey was good but not good enough to put on the really good steak.
The atmoshere was casual and the seating comfortabe. The seating at the rear has beach views although we chose a booth up front. The bar area was lively (5:30PM) and the drinks were generous.
On the second visit my wife had the grouper and it was superb. I ordered the steak sandwich again and it was done perfectly again.
The prices were good (where can you get a great NY strip dinner for $14.95? Try Bobby's!

“Bobby's is Exactly What it is Supposed to Be”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013 via mobile

There is always a good selection of cocktails, beer and wine with the best burgers, steaks and prime rib in Vero, served in a club-like atmosphere by congenial, well-trained staff. There are plenty more upscale restaurants up and down the island, but we can always count on Bobby's for a delicious dinner.

“Oh Please ,,, bring your golf shirt ;)”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

A bit of a throwback to the 80's style pub. Seems to be an annex for the local club members when not at the course. Wear a golf shirt for some bragging rights and recognition. Worth the burger forget the rest .

“Owner / Host is rude!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

Party of three included my elderly mother-in-law. We went for dinner arriving around 7 PM. Upon entering, no one at the hostess station. After a brief wait, the owner/host "Bobb"y appeared and says its a 20 minute wait. Acceptable. The place was busy for a Tuesday and out-of-season. So we decided to go through the bar area onto the outdoor patio where there are about 20 empty tables and absolutely no view and no drink service. (No wonder its empty.) So I proceed to the bar to buy and retrieve a round for everyone. After about 20 minutes, Bobby comes out to tell us our table is ready, then takes my MIL's drink and proceeds to the dining room. He did not wait for us, nor hold the door , nor take us to our table. After about 30 seconds of standing there wondering where he went, he came looking for us. I wonder where this guys learned his poor manners and absolutely no hospitality skills! Fortunalely, we were done with dealing with this obno and proceeded to order delishous dinners of rack of lamb and prime rib. The food was excellent! The service, provided by Julie, was outstanding! Bottom line, if can can get past the bitter initial experience courtesy of Bobby himself, you'll have a wonderful evening.
