“Great spot on the beach; Dodgertown Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2014

This is a very nice old school Florida motel with a five star location. Based on our expectations this really could rate a five star, because it was exactly what we wanted in our stay. It has a great location, full kitchen, beautiful beach, nice deck, nice pool, and a very attentive staff. It was a very good value and about 12-15 minutes to Dodgertown. There are two very nice restaurants across the street, and a pizza place (also very good) within blocks. The location is a little over a mile to the prime retail areas of Vero Beach. We have stayed twice and will return should we back in Vero Beach. This trip we were at Aquarius for six nights.

It is an older motel, but in very good shape. Our room had been redone within the last year with new carpet and paint. Vero really does not have any chain hotels of any size. Your choices will be in this genre, and within that group, this is a very nice place to stay.

My friend and I just stayed at Aquarius for a girls' getaway. What a nice place! We stayed in a two bed efficiency. The room was immaculate!!!! Everything was spotless!!! The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was really nice with a full refrigerator and stove. All the staff was friendly and very accommadating- super staff!! The pool is small but very nice, clean and heated. The outdoor area has a swing, grills, shuffleboard, lounge chairs, tiki tables, patio tables and plenty of room to sit or lay out and enjoy the sun. Plus, there's even a covered area. The grounds are clean and well kept. The beach entrance is right there. The place is very quiet so I would not recommend it for a "roudy" group but would recommend it highly for everyone else!!!!

Stayed at Aquarius last week while in town for Spring Training for my son's college baseball team. It is convenient to Dodgertown and also downtown Vero Beach.
It was the perfect spot with great beach access and ocean views but still wonderfully warm pool and patio areas to get out of the wind. Shuffleboard courts were well kept and fun.
Had a two bedroom apartment that had plenty of room for three adults with a fully equipped kitchen.
Two terrific restaurants across the street were a bonus when we didn't feel like cooking in or getting back in the car to hunt for a dinner spot. Especially would recommend Dario's which stayed open with a great bar menu until midnight.
This property is very quiet and well run. Another bonus was the delicious cinnamon raisin bread on the dining room table with a handwritten note from management welcoming us.
We had actually stayed here almost 20 years ago and were delighted to know it was the special place we remembered.

Room Tip: Rooms range from a typical hotel room to an efficiency to multiple bedroom units. Since it is a sma...

Our son just had a destination wedding in Vero Beach. We booked the entire hotel for three days or more. The first delight was to be sent PERFECT weather for the entire event! Cannot plan that!
We had a catered rehearsal dinner right there on Friday evening for all guests. As guests traveled from NY,MD,TN,IL,TX, we were thrilled to showcase our town at this wonderful hotel. Theresa , the
manager worked with us for many months as we decided what to do and the when and how of it.
She is wonderful to work with and so very accommodating! The location feels very private and is ten minutes from all the things guests want to do when exploring a new area; dining, shopping, sightseeing, beaching (2 minutes!) ---- just the best possible choice. The rates are incredibly inexpensive for this little jewel as well as clean and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and book an evening here with a favorite person!

Room Tip: All but one room has an efficiency kitchen which is a great plus for longer stays as well as an &quo...

Went here for the past couple of years and enjoyed our time. Winter season is busy but summer time is quiet and pleasant. Clean, comfortable and right on the beach. Some restaurants in the area and a short drive, or long walk on the beach, to 'middle beach' where there is shopping and restaurants. I am sure we will be back again.

Room Tip: This is a small Family owned motel, not a chain store with temporary help.

This was a decent, clean and above all, quiet, place. I paid a bit more for an ocean view room, and it was great. We enjoyed our stay and the lady who runs the place was very friendly. The room was also quite clean and smelled nice.

Peaceful, quiet, extremely clean, walking distance to Maison Martinique Restaurant and a little pizzeria. Room 131 is like a townhouse....full large eat-in kitchen, dr, lr w/TV, laundry, 2 brm w/tvs, 2 full bath, loads of storage & closetspace, and 2 decks, spanning the entire front of both levels overlooking the ocean!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful; housekeeping everyday, swimming pool, grills, covered tables. 5 minutes away from any necessity. Skip the resorts....stay here!

Room Tip: Room 131 is spacious and on the ocean.
