“Oh my, a real bakery in Vero!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

Wonderful bread, it must be France! Friendly service, fantastic food and great prices. I almost don't want to mention how great a place this is because once the word gets out we'll be lined up down the block just to get in for a loaf of bread. No worries, I'll get in line.

“Classic French Bakery in Vero Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

Tucked away in the old Vero Beach is this jewel, a culinary oasis of sweet, fresh and delicious baked goods, organic food, and tasty coffee. Bright, cheerful, and remarkably like a French bakery, Patisserie Vero Beach, serves handmade artisan breads, croissants, pastries, soups, sandwiches, flatbreads, salads, cheese, delicious coffee and tea.

We went for both breakfast and lunch, enjoying stuffed croissants, pain au chocolate, vegan sandwiches, and a vietnamese inspired sandwich w/ roast pork, pate, cilantro and more. On our first morning, a lovely young woman was sitting outside, enjoying her coffee and pastry, and as we were leaving said, "This is the best thing to happen to Vero Beach in a very long time."

Just approx. 10 miles off the Vero Beach exit of I-95, Patisserie Vero Beach is worth the trip, your time, and certainly what could certainly be an added inch to your waistline.

“A true neighborhood gem.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

As you enter the fresh aroma of baked goods sets the mood. Chocolate filled croissants that have a thin crispy outer shell and moist buttery inside that really melts in your mouth. A decadent flowerless chocolate mousse with dark valrhona chocolate Selection of artisanal breads are a must. Lunch is as good like the home made chicken liver sandwich just the right balance and not too overpowering. Or maybe the refreshing vegan/bean soup with its light broth. Cheese plates are as Good. Delicious orange/basil spritzer. Ah and the coffee perfectly microfoamed milk and silky espresso for a cappuccino and other coffee drinks. Also there is a selection of Chemex method brewed coffees which are perfectly balanced. Tea served in ceramic pots/cups yum. Ambiance is warm and Inviting. Locally sourced ingredients which makes everything more fresh. Finally the staff is very welcoming and does a wonderful job. Don't forget to watch the chefs prepare all the goodies from the glass window. Keep on the delicious baking. A worthwhile visit to a top notch bakery.
Bon apétit.

“Wonderful for afternoon snack”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

We stopped at this lovely cafe for an afternoon dessert/snack. The French pastries were delicious and authentic and the coffee is extraordinary! Located in a very modest exterior, the interior has all the flair of a French neighborhood cafe. The service was warm and well worth a visit when in Vero!
