“Super service and great food at The Wave Kitchen and Bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

We had dinner on Sunday night, and felt lucky to get a table as other, nearby restaurants like Lemon Tree and Ocean Grill are closed. We arrived about 6:30 and were welcomed right away with even a choice of tables. Our waiter, David, came right over and began taking our drink order. He was outstanding from the start, speaking clearly, with the utmost manners, all the while making us feel comfortable and entertained. We had shrimp cocktail to start and agreed the cocktail sauce was zingy and delightful, accompanied by four, sweet jumbo shrimp . My brother had the house cabernet which he reported was outstanding, while my sister-in-law and I had club soda with lemon and lime that was crisp, cold and delicious. For our entrees, we had Filet mignon, watermelon salad and cuban black beans and rice with plantains that were to die for. Desert was fun with flourless chocolate cake, and mango sorbet and key lime pie. The atmosphere was warm and lively. The Wave is a must dining experience when you're in Vero Beach.

“Much Better...New Chef”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

Very nice Cuban sandwich and view of their pool. The server was very good but the food took too long. Not many people have an hour and a half to eat lunch. There were only 5 tables there for lunch and 2 servers so I can't image why it took so long for two sandwiches. (two of the other tables ordered salads) If you're on vacation it's ok but I can't see many locals popping in if they have to get back to the office any time soon.

“Great way to start the day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

Breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit, homemade granola and yogurt, perfect eggs, fresh OJ.
Tapas and drinks at the bar were perfect for a mid day pick me up. A bit pricey, but worth it - delicious.

“Great Cuban”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We went for dinner on a Saturday night. The place had a great ambiance. There was live music and the light were dim. We had a reservation and was sat quicky. We did sit about 10 minutes before the waitress came to the table but she was very nice. The meal came with excellent rolls (olive, rasin, pumpernickel) and a sweetend flavored butter. I have to mojitos. They were ok. Tasted like cheap rum. The food was excellent. We had the Vaca Frita and the Paella. Both were excellent. I also had the watermelon salad. The fruit a very sweet.

I enjoyed my meal immensely. I would highly recommend for a romantic evening.
