“Still Great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

Too Jay's is not fine dining, you can find that in a number of locations along Ocean Dr. Too Jay's is a great place to go for good food served in a nice relaxing atmosphere, with more than adequate portions, all at reasonable prices, served by a pleasant staff. Who could ask for more? If you want a sandwich (they are huge) or a salad (the variety is great) or a dinner, you'll find it at Too Jay's. When going for dinner we love the turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, and your choice of soup or salad. The liver is also good, cooked perfectly, never tough. The brisket is first rate and always tasty. They truly do have something for everyone. The desserts are out of this world and reasonably priced. Their chocolate cake is sinfully good. Our favorite though is the carrot cake which is so flavorful and moist. If you want just a little something, check out their appitizers which are always good. If it's just a quick bite or a full dinner, give Too Jay's a try. There are lots of good places to eat in Vero Beach, and we keep going back to Too Jay's.

“Awesome Food with Big Portions”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

While spending 2 months in Vero Beach we ate at Too Jays 4 times here is my assessment. Cheese Blintzes: The filling is too sweet. They should be made with a combination of Farmers and Cottage cheese instead. Other than that they were very good and plenty big. Stuffed Cabbage: Very big and very good. They use a sweet and sour sauce on these that give it a nice touch. Chicken Capri: Probably the best item on the menu and I highly recommend it. Tuna Salad: My wife loved it and it does not have onion in it. She really liked that part since onion does not do her stomach well. Overall, Too Jays has a very expansive menu from cold cut sandwiches to hot breakfast , lunch and dinner items. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are quite large. Next time in Vero Beach, we are going back to this place. Ask for the "Short Nicole" for your server, she is excellent.

“Solid Jewish Style Delicatessan”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

Lunch on Sunday was crowded but we only waited a few minutes when a table for two opened up. The waitress was over to the table immediately with menus and a nice smile. I told her that I would be taking items to go as well & she told me not to worry.
My sweetheart ordered the blintzes (crepes) and I ordered the combination cup of matzoball soup & one half corned beef sandwich, I told the waitress to bring everything to the table at the same time. The decaf coffee we had was tasty and plentiful. The food came in ten minutes & it was superior. Hot soup, tasty corned beef. The blintzes were served with sour cream and canned cherries. We remarked that the menu said served with fruit & we expected fresh fruit. The waitress timed our takeout order perfectly. We will be back!
