“Good bar, food not so good”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013 via mobile

Nice place for a drink. Been gong here for a couple years during high season. Food quality seems to be declining. Many other great places in Vero Beach to eat.

“A Typical Beach Bar”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Mulligan's is a fairly typical Florida beach bar. What makes it unusual is that it is in Vero Beach, where beach bars seem to be in short supply. I consider this place a bar that serves food. The menu is large and varied but every time we go there they prices seem to have gone up. It is at the point where the prices are getting dangerously close to those of the far superior Ocean Grill across the parking lot. Breakfasts are good. It's a good place for a cold beer and a burger while enjoying the afternoon ocean view. It would not be my choice for an after dark dinner.

“Bar by the sea”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

Great place to go after work, golf, or just about any time. Menu is diverse, so everybody can find something. Good beer and wine selection.
Very good Crab Cake sliders.
The one in Vero Beach, Fl. even has chairs and a fire pit outside.
Fun place. Service very good.

“Mulligan's needs to try again”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

We had breakfast at Mulligan's, and two thirds of our company were disappointed that the traditional Breakfast Platter, with plentiful food, was too heavy from the frying. One of our group liked (a lot) the French Toast stuffed with cream and fruit. This place is right on the beach, right on the ocean, and there are outdoor tables in good weather. The ambiance is excellent, but the food is average. Full bar, but we did not imbibe at 8 AM.

“Great dinner on the beach at sunset - can't beat that!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

Came here first at lunch for the specials at the bar. A heaping plate of calamari! Then returned the next day for dinner with the wives. Beach side table outside, nice little breeze, beautiful moon rise, terrific server (Hi Kendal!) and very good food at reasonable prices.
