We stayed at this same property when it was a Holiday Inn years ago, then Holiday House, then found Ramada brought down the structures to the nitty-gritty and built an airy, contemporary asset to this sweet Floridian town. Staff was efficient & friendly. There were tweaks going on to make it even better (a wave-like wall was being built to conceal the entry doors into the kitchen last week). Someone is paying careful attention to detail throughout!
The Wave Grill is an excellent place to enjoy a meal and we made sure we did after enjoying our dinner the first day. Don't miss breakfast there - can have pool side table under the wonderful hanging umbrellas which are generously placed in the large pool area. OH! The walk-in pool is exquisite altho max depth is 4'6' if recalling correctly.
Noticed the courtyards are so well-kept. . .extremely so. Looked more carefully and saw most areas sport artificial turf! Neat! Our room was in the courtyard (not pool side) which had sculpted sea grape trees (not bushes as usual) and artistic areas of the turf. Nice outside our door.
One tiny thing the mgt might consider is a place to hang bathing suits in the room without causing drips. The area is very water-oriented and bet lots of suits need a place to dry.
Area note: Sharkey's restaurant near Casperson Beach is undergoing a major reconstruction, but is still opened. We postponed our plan for lunch there.
Our 5 day trip is a very pleasurable memory!
