As eighteen -year snowbirds here in Venice, we've seen restaurants come and go. We arrived to discover yet another Italian restaurant and decided to sample a few of their offerings. What a delightful decision! Our waitress Corinne couldn't have been more helpful, encouraging us to try the pizza specialty of the day--a tasty thin-crust white pizza covered with arugula ,ricotta and goat cheese with a reduced balsamic glaze. We learned from another patron that owner Nick makes his own mozzarella and dough every morning, a true labor of love. We also sampled the appetizer of house cheeses. Our next visit will be to taste those great looking paninis.A reminder: As of yet, there is no wine and beer license, but you are free to bring your own and they will provide glasses at no cost.
Tanti auguri, Nick!
