I have eaten barbeque in Texas, Utah, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Tennessee, New Mexico, and Michigan among other places. The Gold Rush, decorated like an old western saloon, serves about as good as it can get. The service is fast, attentive without being bothersome, and the food is delivered promptly. I enjoyed the pulled pork and sampled the three sauces it is served with. The mild is tasty, the mustard based is a bit hotter and delicious, and the hot is hot enough to flavor the meat well. The cold slaw side served with the pork was fresh and also tasty. The pork comes on a very large bun, which if you do not want it will be replaced with a corn muffin made right there. The food is very fairly priced for the portions served and this is a place I will return to again and again.
