Make sure you bring your "Florida Snow Shovel" (shark tooth & shell scooper), this beach is famous for the sharks teeth found where the waves crash onshore (we easily found a couple dozen without looking that hard). It's a long undeveloped beach, not that wide, not that white, only one bathroom and limited parking at the north end. Families best stay to the north part not far from the parking lot. The further south you go, the nuder it gets, and then the gayer it gets. There's no concessions so bring everything you need and be prepared to haul it with you, which keeps families and all their gear close to the parking lot end anyway. And there's no garbage cans, so be prepared to haul it out with you.
