I was bit worried when I saw our room was on first floor facing the main street but there was nothing to worry about. We didn't hear anything from above ( and the room was occupied) and heard no street noise. It was the quietest motel/hotel we have ever stayed in! The beach is directly across the street, convenient for walking the beach several times a day. The walk into Venice for shopping, restaurants or an afternoon outdoor jazz concert was easy with lots of shade along the way and places to sit and rest in the long parkway.
The room was clean, housekeeping service good, breakfast good, coffee excellent and the bottled water a nice perk. The towels both in the room and at the pool very nice. The pool area well maintained, loved the little fountains and peaceful. The only thing that could be improved would be to replace the three small area rugs in the room, they were stained and looked dirty.

The Inn is without a doubt the cleanest (spotless), comfortable and friendliest Inn (hotel) we have ever stayed. Great location walk across a non-busy street to the beach. Helpful staff who recommended good restaurants and places to see. The continental breakfast was excellent. I will always try to stay at the Inn whenever coming to Venice. Met a gentleman who has been coming to Venice every winter for 10 years with his wife and said that they stayed at the Inn for their first 5 years before they started renting a condo. Highly recommend this place.

We were looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay near the ocean and we found it at the Inn at the Beach. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and our kitchenette had everything we needed. We loved the complimentary continental breakfast complete with fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, pastries, bagels and English muffins. They also provide bottled water all day for their guests and free wifi. I am a picky hotel person and I love staying at Westins but this cute Inn is on my favorites list over any Westin I have stayed at. The pool and hot tub are very clean too. We rented bikes from a local bike shop and he delivered the bikes and helmets right to our hotel and the price was very reasonable. Venice is a cute walkable or bikeable town with a variety of shops and restaurants. Catholic Church is close by too. Staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoy!

Found this Inn by accident first week of December 2012 and loved it. Had a room overlooking gulf ... comfortable bed, nice small sitting area, nice little kitchen area ... all more than ample for a week's stay. Found hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Only wish that at least one window opened so we could have fresh air in room without leaving door open, obviously would not go to sleep at night with door standing open!
