“Nice beach!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2014

Lovely patch of beach with a very close garage for parking -- $8 gets you parking with in and out privileges all day. Had we planned better, it would have been great for swimming during the day and then back for a sunset stroll in the evening. Lots to do with kayak and paddle board rentals right there and a parasailing outfit as well. Nice little action packed beach!

“Just as expected”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2014

We came from fort lauderdale, only 1 hr 30 min away just to come to Vanderbilt. It's my first time but my family had been there before and having a ton of beaches close to home they only wanted to go back there. It didn't disappoint. Clean, quiet, all facilities, watersports, parking and a store nearby. Can't ask for more. Can't miss it if you're in Naples or even 100 miles away.

“Active beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2014

Lots of activity on this beach, with vendors offering paddleboards, kayaks, etc. A little longer walk from parking, but it's a covered lot, which is nice. Longer walk if you like it away from the crowds. Nice surf & sunsets too.

“Memorial Day weekend 2014”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2014

Park in the parking garage, there's a short walk to the beach. It was pretty crowded but we had no problem finding a nice spot. Sand is soft and thick. Water temp was warm. We rented a paddleboard from Cabana Dan's right by the entrance and the guy was very helpful and gave us a lesson as it was our first time.
Lunch was at nearby Vanderbilt Beach Resort restaurant, on the beach. We got there right as they were closing, but they graciously gave us a table and let us stay. Tasty shrimp salad and good service.

“Beautiful sandy beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

We were there in March and it was very crowded. Many families there but not the spring break students.

The sand is so soft. Beautiful beach. Walking the shoreline gives you a view of the water on one side and hotels on the other. Get there early for parking in the garage that charges $8.00 for the day.
