Can't wait to go back. The unit we stayed in was newly remodeled with tile floors and really nice. Much nicer than the other rooms that we saw with the doors open when the maid was cleaning them. Best beach view too with a balcony!! Fantastic sunsets.

We stayed in 301. It was comfortable and spacious. Beach is great here. Lots of shells. Not to crowded. Nice heated pool and bar area. There are bbq grills and plenty of tables and chair areas. We loved it and hated to leave the beach.
One tip is they are individually owned and you can save alot of money by renting from the owner not the hotel. I found the unit we stayed in on vrbo.com. We talked to some people who paid way more than what we did.

A great place to stay! Very clean if you have a boat and are looking for a place to lauch/dock your boat on the intercoastal and have a nice room on the beach, this is it! Best of all, it's their own private dock and parking lot. It's located right across the street from the resort.

We stayed here on our anniversary, and loved it.

We booked a few days in the Island Inn for our family of 4 and 2 friends at the end of a hectic stay in Orlando.
(We had visited Treasure island two years ago on a day trip and fell in love with the resort so this time we wanted to stay for a few days).
We had a two room suite for our family (2 kids/2 adults) and a single suite for our friends (2 adults). (rooms #304&306 I think).
We arrived slightly early, but the staff were really welcoming and got the rooms cleaned and ready early just for us. Our friends room was clean and smelt fresh, but ours smelt slightly of smoke. No problem, the recepition sent up a really friendly cleaner who sprayed some deodouriser and set up a machine which cleaned the air - great response!
The rooms were a little "faded" and looked like they needed a spruce up, but the beds were clean, fresh and comfortable. The views (gulf) were fantastic and we were SO close to the beach! We really enjoyed the pool, again clean and cared for, and the Tiki bar was appreciated by all the adults!
If we had any negatives it was "room noise". We all suffered from some air con noise but as the weather was so hot (for people from the north of England!) we really need to leave it on, add to this the noise from the en-suite fridge kicking in and out and the first night was quite disturbed. That being said we got used to it after then and slept well.
The positives more than outweighed the negatives.
Overall we were very happy with the stay and would recommend the hotel.
