I stayed at Cheri-lyn a few times now.

The motel is a great "mom & pop" type of operation.

It is owned by an older couple and they have been running this place for over 20 years.

The motel is located just across from the beach and actually directly across from a beach access path. It literary takes less than 3 minutes to go from your room to the beach.

The rooms are fairly standard. Some come with kitchenettes and all rooms come with mini-fridges.

The grounds are nicely kept up and they have a large pool, shuffleboard and ping pong table.

Furthermore, the price is excellent and probably one of the lowest in the area. You can still get a room here for a week at like $30 night.

The motel is very clean and everything inside worked fine.

Here is the negative stuff : The beds need to be updated. They are clean, but the mattress is old and kinda hard. Also, the bathroom fixtures need replacing. The sink and tub are clean, but the taps are very old.

That is it for the bad stuff....honestly.....its a great value and definitely will save you a bundle of money!
