We recently stayed at the Surf Beach Resort for a week. We have two children, ages 8 and 5. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were new, clean and bright. The rooms were not big, but more than adequate for a family of four. They look exactly as in the pictures and as far as I know, all rooms are the same. The pool area was also not big, but adequate and the kids had a great time in the pool.

We found this part of the beach quiet and very relaxing - we really enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for restaurants, bars and generally some excitement, you may want to stay in the Redington, Madeira area. Similarly if you want to be right on the water, you may want to consider these other areas. At the Surf Beach all condos face onto the beach and have a great beach / gulfview but the water is a little ways away. We will definitely be going back next year.
