I'm a local - and this is a local favorite for pizza. It's thin and good. The only drawback - it's pricey. But if you don't mind spending some dough for some dough then this place is for you.

We live in Orlando and travel to Treasure Island a few times per year for the weekend and a ballgame. The week of July 4th is my wife's birthday and the week that we traditionally have brought our extended family to the Don Cesar for a few days of fun, sun, and pizza.
Gigis is the quintessential southern italian restaurant with emphasis on their absolutely perfect pizza. All ingredients are fresh and flavorful with the crust being not too thick or thin. Their pepporoni is hand cut in the kitchen and is the best we've eaten in the 20 years that we've been coming over. Let me emphasize that Gigis is not a "gourmet" northern italian restaurant. No snotty waiters with accents and attitudes and no incomprehensible menus. Just good food, great service, and old fashioned atmosphere.
All of the kids, parents, in-laws, etc. think of Gigis as "our" spot. I can't review the pasta and other dishes they serve but I'm sure they are good as there is normally a wait on weekends and during the season. If you're visiting Treasure Island or the Don, walk or drive to either Gigis on the beach side of the bridges. You won't be disappointed.
Best pizza on this earth!
