We recently visited the Treasure Island. We arrived around midnight, on a Saturday night with no reservations. We found the Trail's End.
We did stay in one of the gulffront rooms. No patio or balcony but a beautiful panaramic view from the huge windows more than made up for it.
The furnishings were new and beautiful rattan. The sofabed had a new mattress. The kingsize bed was very comfortable. We did rearrange the table, so we could watch tv. The kitchen was small but had plenty of dishes, pots and pans. (even wine glasses) There was a large closet area. The backdoor was located in the bathroom, great for changing clothes after enjoying the beautiful white sandy beach.
We were there the week after laborday weekend. We had lots of privacy. the staff was helpful when needed, even getting us an extension cord so my daughter could play a dvd in the closet area.
The town area didn't offer much family fun after dark. but the pool was great. The gardens were beautiful, palm trees everywhere. postcard perfect.
The other guest were friendly, but we really had the pool and beach to ourselves most of the time.
I did feel it was a tad overpriced for the season. However i would visit them again if I'm ever in the area.
