My wife and I have been customers at Trails End Motel for the past 25 years, my wife since she was a small child. If you have any problems they are solved almost immeadiatly to your satisfaction. The prices are very fair and the best on the beach. I would recommend to anyone staying here for any amount of time.

My friend and I wanted to have a weekend getaway, so we decided to make reservations at Trails End, because we had stayed there 5 years prior. We checked in at approximately 2:00pm, and went up to our room. When we got there the maids were still cleaning it. The room was very warm, but we figured it was because the door was open while they were cleaning. We closed the shades and checked that the air unit was on high. We left and came back three hours later and the room was still warm. We went to the front desk to notify them and she said they would check it. She also told us that this is Florida and it is hot. We are from Florida and know its hot, but it's part of the hotels service to provide its customer with an air conditioner that works properly. We returned at 8pm and they placed a box fan in front of the unit. We called the front desk and told them it wasnt acceptable and she told us that the air was checked and it was fine. Again we told her this was unacceptable, we asked for our money back. She said she would have to call a manager. Moments later she came to our room and said she would give us our money back. I asked her what she thought of the temperature and she said " We have different ideas...Good Luck finding another room. We went downstairs and got our money back and left. Needless to say we drove back to Tampa and our weekend was cut short. I'm not a picky person nor do I like to complain but what made us upset is she didnt want to admit there was a problem.

IF YOU WANT PEACE AND QUIET AND BE ON THE GULF, THEN THIS IS IT. It is very reasonably priced and very clean. The only flaw I could find was the wall paper was starting to peel on some of the edges, but it was very clean. I PLAN ON STAYING THERE AGAIN. The exterior of the building appears to be in good condition and looks nice. The landscaping around the pool is very nice and appealling. Even though the seams of the wall paper were not perfect, I give this stay a 99% out of a 100%. All of the employees and people at Trails End were very friendly. I would not normally give a review because I can be picky, but I was happy here and it was less expensive than a chain brand lodging and service was the best. A BEST BEACH DEAL- ACCORDING TO ME-A.J.

My family moved to this hotel 2 days into thier visit here after being treated horribly badly at the John's Pass Beach Motel. They were accomodated at the last minute, with no reservation, on a busy weekend. The people at this hotel clearly appreciate your business and are dedicated to your satisfaction while you are a guest there. My father commented several times how pleased he was with the room and the service there. This place is right on the beach, reasonably priced, great location, etc... Has a pool and great for families as there are kitchens in the rooms.
