“Beautiful hotel!!! Friendly owners”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013 via mobile

I stayed here as part of a large family group (some of which have stayed here before many times)at the end of September this year and had an amazing time! The hotel is in a beautiful location and we had a gorgeous view of the gulf coast from our room. No complaints at all hotel and rooms very clean and spacious, pool very clean too. Staff very helpful, wish we stayed longer! Would defiantly be back!!!

We have stayed at the Page Terrace several times and always enjoy our stay. It is a small hotel with modest furnishings but with everything in tip top shape. The bathrooms and kitchenettes have been renovated in the last couple of years with new tile, granite countertops and mini fridges. The TV's have been upgraded to flat screens. We have stayed in both the Bay and Gulf side rooms. The Bay side room we stayed in still had a view of the Gulf since windows were on two sides of the room.

I know some posters on tripadvisor have complained about the smokers. There are designated smoking areas but depending on which way the wind is blowing or how close to an AC unit it could be an issue. As someone once said to me, "there are only two kinds of smokers; dinosaurs and idiots". I think most of the smokers at the Page Terrace fall under the former category and we all know what happened to the dinosaurs.

My husband and I like to stay in efficiency units since we don't always like having to go out every morning for breakfast. There is a Publix just across the street and we can whip up our own omelettes, scrambled eggs and toast quite nicely with the available kitchen equipment. And how difficult is it to toast a bagel with cream cheese? Plus we can have as many mimosas as we want! We certainly don't feel like slaves on our vacations when we prepare some of our own meals. We enjoy spending our money at Middle Grounds, the VIP lounge and other colorful local restaurants as well as a few late breakfasts at the R Bar. There are plenty of utensils to make simple meals although as foodies we like to bring our own sharp knives, favourite frying pans, pepper grinder, champagne glasses and our Tassimo coffee maker. (Obviously, we are driving, not flying.)

The staff are friendly and accommodating. The hotel has added bike racks to the side of the hotel so we can keep our bikes outside instead of schlepping them back and forth to our room. Much appreciated!

The pool is the perfect size for the amount of guests at the hotel. It is always very clean and it is covered at night with a thermal cover to retain the day's heat. As an Ontarian it doesn't bother me if the temperature is in the high 70's or low 80's. Anything more and it's really not that refreshing.

There are plenty of loungers around the pool. As with many places there are a few chair hogs who get up very early to snag loungers with draped towels, etc. I confess, I have moved some of them since there are enough loungers for everybody. I know one elderly couple did seem to get their noses out of joint when they finally showed up and found their belongings moved but really, after 4 or 5 hours of being absent can you really expect them to still be there? It would be nice if the hotel made a better attempt at enforcing the "no hogging the loungers rule" but it must be difficult when many of the guests have been coming to the Page Terrace for 20 years plus so they have entitlement issues.

We have met a lot of nice people who are repeat guests at the Page Terrace. They come because of the cleanliness, value for money, great location, wonderful weather, "old Florida feel', local attractions and just plain old relaxation. I hope to become a repeat guest, but I promise I will try not to become a chair hog.

We had a great week at the Page. Our first time there, and enjoyed it totally. We had a corner room on the third floor with a lovely room and nice view. Plenty of space in the room, clean and a wonderfully pleasant cleaning lady. There were some very nice regulars there and other visitors who were nice to visit with. We would definitely return. Kitchenette was great we used it. The walgreens across the street and publix were useful, and ricky T's restaurant Bar was also nice to have across the street.

This was our first trip to Treasure Island versus, St. Pete or Madeira areas, something I noticed that was the beach/sand area was much larger... meaning the gulf was therefore father away from the hotels.

Thanks Page, it was a great time.

First time to Treasure Island and Page Terrace. We stayed 9 days and enjoyed the beautiful large beach, the pool and the surrounding area. Rooms were clean, faced the beach. We had a kitchenette which was helpful with 2 little ones. There is a Publix grocery store right across the street so we were able to stock the fridge with water/juice etc. There are also many stores and restaurants just a few steps from the hotel. We had a long stay so we were able to drive around the area. If you can, visit beach drive in st. petersburg......great restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly.........Big Thanks to Arthur who helped us with our Busch Garden tix!

Room Tip: beach view

Needing a little weekend getaway but not wanting to go far, my darling and I headed down the road to Treasure Island where we found a delightful family owned small inn, Page Terrace. It was spotless and value priced.,.just perfect for an uncomplicated weekend. Everything you could want is within a walk away so you can just park that rig and hoof it..restaurants, pharmacy, grocery store, liquor store, ice cream and a great little jewelry store. On Sunday evenings a local group holds a drum circle on the beach near this place as the sun sets. Dreams can be made here!

Room Tip: All the rooms have beach/gulf views

Spent this weekend there for the first time and was very happy with it! Lovely, clean room, very freindly owners and staff. The location is perfect; not only are you on the beach -tho it's a bit of trek, so you get a bit of walking in as well, fabulous, but that's any place on TI - but you are within walking distance of Walgreen's, Publix, VIP (great mexican), beach stores, and our new fav restauant on TI, The Clock tower. Never got in our vehicle in 3 days. Love it. The reason it didn't get a 5 may sound nitpicky. One, the AC was really difficult to manage. You were either freezing, on low fan, or muggy on really low cool. Whatever, it's FL. The other is that we wanted to jump in the pool and when we got there the chlorine was SOOOOO strong that the fumes were killing me. Ended up not using it. However, that was one night, did not happen again the whole time so I figure it's a rare thing. Would I go back again, yes I would. Hope that didn't sound harsh because they were not huge issuses and was quite happy.

Room Tip: There's no elevator so if you hate stairs do 1st floor. however, the view is even better on the...

My wife and I stayed here July 31st to Aug 4th and what a great place. We picked this place based on the reviews from Trip Advisor and wow clean, friendly, quite and a great location! All of the pictures the owners have on their web site I can say are accurate. We stayed in room 222 and it was the perfect size for the 2 of us. This room came equipped with a mini fridge with freezer, toaster, two burner stove, microwave & coffee maker. Also had dishes, pots an pans, silverware & cups. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. The view was great our room had an ocean view. Couldn't ask for a better location many places to eat within walking distance a Publix grocery store and a Walgreens just across the street. Something I thought was cool was that people who bought beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and those styrofoam cooler just left them at the hotel because they couldn't take them home and the hotel has them out for use for guests instead of throwing them away we ended up leaving an umbrella. Hope to go back one day and if we do we wil be staying at the Page Terrace.
