There's few things in this world that are for sure's, but if you'd like to experience some place special on the beach you can be sure of an exceptional stay at the Arvilla Resort Motel in Treasure Island Florida. The owner of the motel is hands on when it comes to maintaining the clean look and feel of the property. Since my family and I last stayed at the motel a year ago several rooms have been updated. In my opinion the rooms were very nice before the improvements, but now when you consider the incredible room rates I guarantee you will not find a better value than what's being offered at the Arvilla . . affordable luxury on the beach!

In addition to property improvements the owner has recently hired more staff people to ensure a great stay. Becky the new front desk receptionist (and pool girl) greeted my family and I like we were guest at her home. Maleka attended to our room needs and never hesitated to ask if we needed something during our stay. The combination of great, friendly service and a clean, comfortable room by the pool overlooking the beach makes the Arvilla Resort Motel a travel best bet for sure!

We just had our third family reunion at this motel and this will definately be the last. We had several problems with the Manager (Jim). As far as the staff, Val was absolutely great. Our family reserved the whole motel for the entire week. This motel has come up with so many rules since our last stay we felt we were restricted. They lock the pool gates at 9:00 P.M. and don't open them until 9:00 A.M. In past reunions the pool was left open for us as this is the only place where everyone can get together. The parking is very limited and they have 14 parking spaces and 16 rooms so do the math there. You are not allowed any visitors. Whats the point in visiting here if you can't have anyone visit. The rooms are extremely outdated and the stoves in the rooms are a fire hazard. The knobs on the stove barely have to be touched in order for them to come on. All you have to do is brush up against them and they come on. My biggest complaint about our stay was the manager (Jim). He is very rude and definately needs some customer service skills. Never again!

This last stay was my 3rd time at the arvilla, My first trip to the Arvilla was a few years ago I love it there the atmosphere is wonderfull, the location cant be beat and the price is awsom,Iam planing another trip there this comming november, the people are very nice and welcomming , it is a quiet little get away from everday life an everything is walking distance I would definitely recomend the Arvilla to anyone looking for a nice clean hotel.

We stayed at the Arvilla with another family for four days during the second week of July. First of all I want to say that the staff was friendly and the resort was kept clean. If you're looking for a holiday that consists of relaxing, not doing too much and going to bed early, this place might be what you're looking for. Amenities are older and very basic so do not expect much. Treasure Island in general seemed to be a bit seedy and rundown. The back of our room overlooked a deserted resort next door. Our families consisted of teenagers and we were very disappointed that the pool was not open past 9:00 pm. There is not much for teens to do besides go to the beach and swim in the pool during the day. We were also disappointed that there weren't any towels to use at the beach. As we travelled from the west coast of Canada we did not bring our own. It was necessary for us to go and purchase some while we were there. We also had the experience of the cleaning staff leaving our room unlocked for the day while we went to Busch Gardens. Luckily nothing was taken.
Both families discussed our experience and agreed that we would not recommend this place. Try one of the bigger resorts down the beach or on a different island. The beach however was beautiful!
