A friend of ours that lives in St. Petersburg told us about this motel, it is very quiet and clean, we even had wi-fi, we will be staying there every year when we visit Florida. Very clean pool, even has a grill for cooking out, walk across the street to the beach, i was disappointed with the beach it is very shelly you can not walk on it, very very sharp :( OUCH!!!

This little motel was a gem. It was older but very clean. I would recommend this motel to anyone.

The Sunrise Motel was great value for the money. Our room was $49 and included a separate living area with table, couch 2nd TV and kitchenette, as well a bedroom with TV and lots of drawer space, and a bathroom.
While it's not directly on the beach we could see the water from our window. There is a convenience store across the road and the motel is well-situated to all the attractions and restaurants in the area.
The price at the Sunrise is substantially lower than many of the other family-run motels in the area (probably due to location) but we were very pleased to find a nicely-decorated, spotless motel in a good location. Who needs more than that?

This hotel is spotlessly clean. It looks like it was renovated like last week. The rates were good ($55 military). It's right across the street from the beach. Our room had a full size fridge, microwave, stove, even a toaster. The owner is from Poland and doesn't put up with any nonsense, so the place stays nice and clean and quiet. Only one washer & dryer, though, but coin-op laundry is a few blocks away.
