“Great Price, Great Hotel, Will def. be back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2011

We went for a one night, weekend getaway with another couple, and it was superb.
Very friendly hotel staff, allowed us to check in three hours early, since our room was vacant! Covered parking so our car didn't get hot. Even let us keep our car there after we checked out while we spent day at the beach!
Great spacious room. Extremely clean. Incredibly comfy beds and pillows.
Master only had a shower, no where to store toiletries.
The Kitchen was a nice full size. Had a few pots and pans, but We only cooked breakfast, so was no problem for us. Alot of space, if staying for a long time, had a huge pantry to store stuff in, Fridge has freezer with ice maker that filled up the bucket with in a few hours.
Thermostat was set to 75, and we couldn't move it at all. No big deal since its summer and very hot out.
Balcony is beautiful, and despite being on the main road, we didn't mind the noise from the cars, it wasn't that bad, atleast to us.
Pool was great, Its not cholrine though, It is a salt pool that is heated. Hot Tub is a decent size. Con of pool: The material they used to surround pool is extremely hot to walk on going from chair to pool, etc.
Have to walk across street to get to beach, but no big deal. Its so pretty, didn't mind! Within minutes of great restaurants and a grocery Store and Liquor store!
Overall a great hotel, Already making plans to come back in a few monthes.

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough.

Our room was excellent. Two separate bedrooms with double beds. Fully equipped kitchen, great balcony, modern furnishing, very helpful staff , close to the beach.

Some recommendations (not critisms) for familes especially those from the UK:

-Defintely hire a car. There are some restaurants, shops that are close but not too much. Not much is walkable especially with a family (probably find the same problem for the vast majority of hotels in USA anyway),

-No kettle in the kitchen. Coming from the UK I can just about go without a cup a tea for two weeks but needed the sterilised water for my 6 months old. We just went to Wal-mart and got a kettle for $10.

-No Safe in the room. I thought that unusal and I my only real critism of the hotel.

Apart from that cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros-
Excellent location
Big roomy kitchen with new appliances
Comfortable beds and furniture
Flat-screen TV's in each bedroom and living area

Cons-
Street noise when the sliding glass doors are open (when they're closed the noise is not noticeable)
Ceiling fan remotes are not unique-someone in next room turns their fan AND my fan off, I turn both on, they turn both off and the battle is on.

Overall this location was comfortable and an excellent value. Beach is just across Gulf Blvd, John's Pass is less than a mile to the north, and there's easy, non-toll access from I-275. For those who like to do their own cooking, the kitchen is top notch, newer appliances, and all the necessary plates, glassware, and untensils. Beds and baths are great, and even a washer/dryer so you can pack light and wash clothes while you're there. The staff is very pleasant and accomodating. Wondeful view of the Treasue Island beach. Only negatives are the road noise when sliding glass doors are open, and the above mentioned ceiling fan remote cross-over. Overall excellent experience. We will return.

I loved the resort, whats in the pictures on their website is exactly what it looks like!! I went for a relaxing time away from work and kids with my sister. We stayed in the two bedroom/ two bathroom suite and it was very nice! Master bedroom had a king size bed, second bedroom was queen size. They even had 3 large flat screen TVs in our room, and offered a DVD player (RedBox is about 10 min away!) - unfortunately no remote for the DVD player.
Only true complaint I have is the Master bathroom shower was only a stand up shower so it had only a tiny little soap dish, no storage for shampoo/conditioner, comb, razor, loofah...I would suggest to hotel/resort that they get those shower stands so people have somewhere to put their things. This was mainly difficult for me since I am 6 months pregnant and had to keep bending over to get my shampoo and conditioner and my comb and razor kept falling off the tiny soap dish.

Other than that one complaint, I will definitely be staying here again!!

Also - pool is salt water - not as salty as the ocean but it did surprise me!
I liked the area, it was relaxing and I was able to enjoy

Room Tip: For a view, try to get at least floor 3 or higher

This was our first time staying here and we were very pleased. We had two young kids and they had great time. Room was nice and spacious, service was good. Location was perfect. If you're looking for ocean view be sure to get room on 4th or 5th floor.

Was a nice resort however the staff told us that the property was right on the beach.....NOT, not very close either you have to walk a good bit to get to beach, said they have spa, NOt, Spa is on sister property which is about 2 miles away. Said they have game room for kids, NOT, it is also on the sister property which is 2miles away, the pics online are very misleading about beach front views. I must say that the rooms were very nice but just dont believe the hype about the views, and other amenities, nothing on property but pool. Another thing the property is close to the street so it was very nosy due to traffic outside.

Room Tip: Ask for room on top floors for poss view

We apologize that you thought you were mis-lead however our staff is trained to state our location and ammenties as is. The spa that you refer to in Paradise Spa located a half mile from the property but they do in-room services at the hotel. The arcade, restaurant etc. is located at The Club of Treasure Island which is a private club that we give our guests access to during their stay and it is located 3/4 of a mile from us. We are 200 ft. from the beautiful sands of Treasure Island and have views of the gulf from our two and three bedroom suites on the third floor and above.

We rented a two bedroom unit for two couples, and the space worked great for us. Right amount of privacy between rooms, ample common space in the unit, and a full kitchen. Very few pots/pans and dishes, but we made do for our 4 night stay. The location is right in the middle of the Treasure Island strip, and on Gulf Blvd -- good for access, but quite noisy. If there was one thing we didn't like it was the location -- sitting by the pool was not a peaceful and relaxing experience because it is right next to the very noisy road. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. If we went back to this area again, would opt for a hotel on the beach and a bit more separation from the noise.

Room Tip: Though more noisy, ask for room facing Gulf.
