We went to eat here because we love hogsnapper, only they didn't have any. (The waitress told us they don't have it a lot because it has to be hand-speared, although the owner later denied that). One of our party had been there before and they didn't have it then. The problems with the dinner were as follows: the waitress completely forgot our bread (for which they charge), it took forever to get oil and vinegar for the salad (they first brought a dish of dipping oil by mistake), they brought fried onion rings instead of the baked potato. But the single worst thing was when it came time to pay -- one person is on a bland diet and asked for just the grilled chicken that goes on top of a salad (but not the salad). The menu listed the price of that as $5. When the bill came, the charge was $10 !!! Because she DIDN'T order the salad !!!! As I write this I still can't believe they pulled such a smarmy trick. And of course neither the waitress nor the menu said anything like that as a warning. If the chicken had come with the promised baked potato, it would have been okay. But $10 for the $5 of chicken that goes on top of a salad ???? Give me a break. The place seems to be more interested in being a bar rather than a restaurant -- it was exceedingly loud. A REALLY TERRIBLE RESTAURANT. We'll never go back and suggest you go with extreme caution. .
