We booked our 2 night stay online, and were a little taken back when we arrived. We have never had to sign so many papers to stay at a hotel/motel/inn. Sign a paper for the key, sign a paper for the tv remote, sign another paper for the room and finishings. Makes you feel like like they don't trust anyone. It's a 2 floor Inn with outside entrances and no elavator. Being seniors we were worn out by the time we got our bags up to the 2nd floor. Our room was nice and clean, however, cozy with a king bed. Not much storage space for luggage, and no towel racks to hang your wet towels on. If you don't pack your own hair dryer you will have to go the office to get one, and most likely sign another paper. For those of you who carry your computers with you, the wifi connection is very slow. I would not say the the staff is friendly. We arrived an hour early, and they would not let us in our room. Doubt if we will stay there again when we visit friends in the area. In our opinion they are not customer friendly.

This motel has had many improvements over the past couple years since the new owners took over. I have been staying here several times a year. There has been a genuine attempt to make the rooms more comfortable and accommodating to the traveler. It's been very nice to have the addition of new beds, furniture, wall fixtures and TV. Having free Wifi is unusual and I use it extensively. The opaque windows are nice so you can have sunlight without sacrificing privacy. The staff is very friendly and I always enjoy having the occasional conversation during the course of my stay.

We decided to "wing it" thru the Keys and didn't have a place to stay, or any idea what was open. It was a busy weekend for traveling and we saw the vacancy and turned in. We were lucky to get the last room. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and the room was large and clean. Nothing fancy but very comfortable.

We booked this on line and a bit blind as we were travelling around Florida and were not sure about the hotel,but as soon as we arrived we were put at ease. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean and well equipped.The whole experience here has been great and would not hesitate to book here again if we are in the Keys again.The view from our door over the water and across the creek are beautiful in the morning and especially at sunset.
can not find anything negative about this hotel.
