We stayed 4 nights at this resort in early March. It is absolutely charming and relaxing. The gardens and grounds are beautiful as is the beach. Mike and Carol are tremendously helpful and are always on the property to answer questions about the local area. They also leave a list in your cottage of their favorite nearby restaurants etc. We went to three of them and were not disappointed. My two kids also loved this property. The cottage has everything you need except your clothing and swimsuit and a few groceries. Chad's restaurant is within walking distance and it is also great and the grocery store is a couple of miles down the street. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation away from the noise and the crowds this is the place. All of the guests are very friendly and in the evenings people sit outside and grill and chat. Reminds you of what a vacation used to be like before high rises etc.

We stayed at Island Bay for only a few days but it was well worth it. Mike and Carol who run the resort are the perfect hosts. They welcomed us like we were old friends - not just guests. They are always available to help and advise on what to do and when - thanks Mike for the tip on which day to go snorkeling. The rooms are great and everything you need for a relaxing stay. The beach area is brilliant a place to really relax and soak up the Florida sun. Would we stay here again - you bet! When - as soon as we get the chance. Great place!!!!!!

Boy did we need a get a way! This is exactly what we found at island bay resort! Mike and Carol have made every detail count...thats what makes it stand apart from other places. My husband and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definately recommend others to come and experience island bay resort! Thank you...we hope to return again!

Lived loved this little resort. We started at South Beach then to Keywest, this was our last stop...next time we will come straight to Island Bay Resort!!! The waterfront efficiency was awesome as well as the beach and amenities. We loved it.
