Great little resort with beach, swimming, snorkeling and nice rooms. Wonderful sunsets. Will stay here again. Enjoyed having a fully stocked kitchen. Can rent kayaks from a local provider for 24 hours and enjoy the water. Very nice resort.

Everything here to enjoy - beach, snorkeling, kayaks available, pool and 2 beautiful and friendly peacocks. Room has full and supplied kitchen. We cooked dinner and then took our plates out to the beachside dining cabana for a wonderful sunset. Really enjoyed this hotel and will definitely be back.

For a last minute quick trip to the Keys, we booked three days there in-between Xmas and New Years. There are some things we truly enjoyed about the place: convenient location, well maintained grounds, friendly Peacocks that walk around the grounds, very helpful staff, a nice place to sit on the beach and watch the sunset, and our room was clean. What we did not care for was the noisy air conditioner and refrigerator in our room (#14). Also, the facility is pretty close to the highway.....so you do have traffic noise at times.

If you're looking for a modern hotel with all the amenities, Atlantic Bay Resort isn't for you. If, however, you are looking for a nice quiet secluded place to stay, it's perfect. My husband and I stayed in one of the efficiencies the first week of November. In our opinion it was a great deal for the money. The beach was wonderful and relaxing and a great place to watch the sunset. The grounds were beautiful. The staff was very helpful and gave us a great list of restaurants they recommended. There were only two downsides. First the grounds were very dark at night, not conducive to an evening on the beach at all. Also, the office hours were more of a suggestion than a fact. However, we had no problem finding our room when we arrived after hours. We would definitely go back again.
