“Really good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

Went here on a Saturday it was sooo busy! I would probably go back on a weekday next time. Waited about 30 minutes to get seated but it was worth it! I ordered lamb and it was cooked perfectly with lovely seasoning the service was great. It's a very loud restaurant very fun!

“Ooompa!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2014

We were introduced to Hellas by our son. We had a rather large party that evening and the two servers assigned to us were very gracious to all of our needs. The food was very tasty and the bakalava was delicious. We appreciate the good time and good food. Recommend everyone try it if they are in the area!!! Ooompa!!

“Good food and atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2014

We visited Tarpon Springs for the first time this weekend and enjoyed walking around and sponge shopping! There is a huge Greek presence in this community, so if you enjoy Greek food, this is the place to go! Hellas is right on the main blvd so we popped in and were seated for dinner immediately at 7pm on Saturday night. The combination platter was okay but overstated by listing a gyro with the platter...you really don't get a gyro, just some meat and taziki sauce, no pita. The chicken souvlaki was good and we ordered a side of greek olives (comes with about 20 olives with pits in olive oil, very good). The best was the fresh fish of the day, the red grouper! The 2 lb. fish is about $34 and is charbroiled to make the skin crispy and the inside soft and tender. Our server cleaned and de-boned it for us table-side before serving. It comes with greens and is delicious. The gyros looked delicious so the next time we go, we'll get a gyro and the fresh fish again. You have to go through the bakery to get to the bathrooms and the treats looked delicious!

“Overpriced, not disability friendly, parking 1 block behind restaurant!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2014

1) This restaurant is outrageously overpriced for the mediocre food quality.
Example: Fountain drinks are $2.50 each, NO free refills.
(2) Parking is located behind restaurant up a 45 degree incline, 1 block away! INCONVENIENT!
3) Overcrowded and noisy.
4) If you are disabled.....FORGET THIS PLACE it's a 'Mission Impossible!'
5) You are charged for each piece of pita bread. Unbelievable!
6) Servers were inattentive and seemed very confused & indifferent.
7) Very congested seating configuration.
8) This is a typical Tarpon tourist trap, Most locals eat at the more reasonably priced Greek establishments with ample parking.
9) We will not be returning or recommending it to our friends.
