We had some issues at this hotel, and most of the staff members tried hard to make sure that we were ok. There was an unacceptable situation in our room, and our room was immediately changed but it was so so late, and it had already been changed because of air conditioning issues.... next day the executive housekeeper Terry personally came to apologize and we appreciated her efforts in trying to make it up to us. Some of the staff was really very nice, a couple clearly didn't care... we did stay on the clubroom area so we did have access to the lounge which is nice for a couple of things, though the breakfast ends too early and we never caught it, but it was nice to grab crackers and soda once in a while.
The rooms have very beautiful furniture that I wouldn't mind having in my home, nicely designed bathroom, but the carpet is not nice... beds are so so comfortable, but comfy pillows... The pool is a nice size but wasn't maintained well, we used it a couple of times and cleaned the top ourselves before getting in. It also seemed as if random people would just walk to the pool area as it didn't have a secured entry.
Unfortunately this hotel has a serious structural issue. It feels humid/damp the entire time... some floors really smell bad... we stayed one week and my body hurt most of the time we were there, and my allergies were constantly triggered -- and I'm not super allergic. If you are not the kind of person whose well being gets influenced by this sort of thing, I would recommend booking online, it's worth it. Just make sure the phone is unplugged if you want to sleep in, because they will call even very early and even if you have a don't disturb sign... (they won't knock but they WILL call.)
It seems far but easy commute off rush hour to many places. There is nothing right by but you can order in, and hotel restaurant has really good pizza... we didn't care much for the other things we ate there (grouper, burgers, ribs etc..).
Pay more for rooms with fifth floor clubroom access.

Thank you for your time in sharing your experience. We truly pride ourselves on the services we provide and I am pleased to see that was reflected during your interactions with our staff. The Sheraton Club Lounge is a great value for all the extras you receive and we do encourage those who can benefit from the services to enjoy all the club lounge has to offer, even if it is just taking advantage of the little perks such as sodas and waters. The furniture and bedding you enjoyed were all a part of our well received $10 million renovation and I agree it is very modern and comfortable. While I am glad you were able to enjoy several aspects of our property, I am sorry that you encountered issues with the smell and the triggering of your allergies. I am concerned that you were disturbed in the room via phone calls and from lack of knocking and would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you further regarding this matter. I appreciate the time you spend to share your experience and truly value your feedback.
