Just returned from 4 nights staying in a lovely Casita at the Grand Hyatt, Tampa. The two story villa overlooked a canal and mangroves with the bay in the distance (master bedroom was on the second floor with an even better view). Furnishings very nice, beds very comfortable. Only drawback is noise from airport (Not enough to keep us awake). Service was excellent. Short walk to the main hotel via a boardwalk through peaceful nature area. The club lounge (included) was okay - not as generous as a Ritz - but pleasant with a good selection of cold items for breakfast. (Afternoon snack is just cookies and beverage - no sandwiches). Workout room is small - but airy with new treadmills and two ellipticals. Sunday too crowded to use but other days practically empty. Casitas have their own pool - beautiful at water's edge - and quiet - usually just us. I give it 4 stars due to noise from airport; lack of an actual snack at lunchtime in club lounge; and small workout room. But, we consider it best hotel to stay at in Tampa and will stay again.
