“Great hang out and drinking place! ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

We came just to kill time before our flight. The have a great brunch buffet for $15. You can also get the buffet with all you can drink bloody Mary's amd mimosas for $32 . The bloody marys and mimosas were $3 alone. The were a few vegetarian options which is why I chose this place to eat. The also had nice live music on the outdoor patio to enjoy. I liked the layed back atmosphere!

“Good food, dog friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

Our party of three plus a dog had lunch here today. It was pouring down rain so we were worried about the dog friendly seating but the patio has HUGE umbrellas that allowed us plenty of room and lots of people were sitting on the patio. Also, nice atmosphere with live music on a Sunday at 12pm. Two in the party ordered burgers and they were huge. I ordered mine medium well and it was a little undercooked for my taste but it was still good. Third person in the party had the cuban sandwich and it was delicious. Portions are large. Dog friendly is always a plus for us.

“Tried it and won't go back. ”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

Really wanted to like this place. Group of 5 went on a Sunday night after a bucs game and sat outside.

They were not really busy but only had one person working the tables outside and she was clearly overwhelmed.

Ordered two appetizers took about 20 minutes and one appetizer came out the other we had to ask for and that took another 10 minutes. Two of us had the pirates bowl both of them had clams that hadn't opened and muscles that had nothing in them and overall were just terrible.

They also do not serve fountain soda so it comes in a can as does ice tea and lemonade.

Overall the service was extremely slow, the food was not good and I would recommend avoiding this place.

“Ybor City”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

barhopping in Ybor City, we needed a snack & drink...Gaspar's reminded us of Key West...Conch Fritters were great, as well as the Carribean Shrimp and Calamari. Unfortunately they had just run out of the tostones which I really had wanted...I'd do this place again, for sure. A very interesting menu with not often seen starters such as baked goat cheese, French fried yucca, and deviled crab.
