“Decent getaway”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

This is a decent getaway. Not usually crowded. There is always something in bloom or some sort of critter to be seen on the trail.

“One of my Favorites”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Lettuce Lake Park is a beautiful place to enjoy some of Florida nature! I always walk on the boardwalk which is really nice but they do also have a nice paved path! The observation tower offers a beautiful view of the river and often osprey's flying over the water! Keep your eyes open while on the paths looking for the wildlife. In my past visits I have viewed many different types of birds, snakes, alligators, etc. Don't forget to stop into the visitor center to see the displays and learn more about the park! It is a great park to get away from the city and relax!

“Best park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2014

Truly a beautiful setting for alternating biking and walking for only $2 per car. We will definitely go back for kayaking.

“Get away from the Noise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014

Enjoyed the elevated walkway through the swamp, lake and trees. Heard many different birds and other wildlife scurrying as I approached.
Enjoyed the visitor center and the displays providing the history of the area.
This was just what I needed, to get away from the traffic and noise. This is my idea of a magical kingdom.

“Nature at it's best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2014

You will find Lettuce Lake Park to be the best value you have ever received for your two dollars. There are a number of large individual park locations along the well cared for road inside. Including very large natural wood gazebos. European workout stations all along a very long paved jogging track. A nature museum and a catwalk along a waterway. All inside the park. Bring your own refreshments and don't forget a camera.
