Owner description: Lettuce Lake Park opened in 1982 and quickly became a hub of activities. The 240-acre site offers something for everyone. Wooded picnic areas and a playground are family favorites. A 1.25 mile bicycle path/jogging trail, complete with a fitness course, meander through the park. Lettuce Lake is also a haven to study nature. “Love coming here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

I absolutely love visiting Lettuce Lake Park when I come to north Tampa. The park is clean and I feel safe even when I came here by myself. Great jogging trails with exercise areas along the way. Great board walk over the swamp to let you get up and close to the alligators. Next time I plan to rent a kayak and paddle around. The volunteers at the Nature Center were very informative and friendly. Lots of picnic areas and tables. You can spend an entire day here just enjoying nature. All this for only $2. You can't beat it.

“Serene”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013 via mobile

For only $2 per person, you enter a world of serenity! We lost count of the birds, gators and squirrels! It was a very hit and sunny day, but the trees provided the best "air conditioning!"
We were disappointed the tower is closed indefinitely. Charge more to get it repaired!

“Park”

I always love going to this park. I love the trails and the wildfire is so wonderful here. The park is very clean and well kept for. No matter how many times I go it never gets old.

“Wonderful place to go to relax and see nature”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

oh my I loved this place. Nicely shaded , great boardwalk. Lots of nature , lots of birds, and gators. Really loved it. Must take your family for a long walk and you can even take the dog, along one walk way but not on the board walk

well worth going for a day of nature watching.
