The photos on Mainsail's website look wonderful, yet what we saw in person was completely different. The rooms are somewhat worn, ours had dirty and torn carpeting. While we were checking in another guest was complaining about cockroaches in their room, this is about the time I started feeling uneasy about the hotel. We had one cockroach in our room during our stay of five days. The service I have to say is great and no complaints there. Some people say that cockroaches are normal in Florida, yet I've stayed at several other places in Florida without ever having a problem. This seemed to be a common complaint among other guests after speaking with some of them and many requested new rooms. I think the rooms are in desperate need of updating. I didn't feel it was worth the money.

Everyone was friendly, helpful, kind and courteous. The room was so clean and tidy! The shuttle was timely and everything so clean. Any questions or issues were quickly addressed. It was safe and close to Tampa International. My husband was a patient at LSI and our driver Harry was amazing!!! Customer Service at its best!!!

I was a laser spine surgery patient and this hotel catered to me like I was a king! Really like the shuttle that takes you to the laser spine institute it helps you save time and money,... And the driver Harry is the most friendliest and helpful person you could ask for . Plan on coming back here but for vacation next!
