“Charming thatch-roofed tavern”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

The food was good. The waitress Lauren was very pleasant. We laughed when we asked for dessert and she quickly said, "Guinness is our dessert!" The Friday evening ambience was enjoyable.

“Av thatched roof Irish Pub in Tampa! Worth the visit.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2012

This traditional pub (no TV's but lots of conversation) offers evening music, great Irish Beers, whiskeys and food - Bud is same price as Guiness) and an interesting and eclectic mix of patrons. Within walking distance (a bit) of vonvention area, Make it your first and regular stop!!

“Great beer - awful food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

The food and atmosphere were that of a pub - but this was worse than British pub food by far. The soup was like tomato pasta sauce and the goat cheese appitizer was on soggy bread. So go for the beer and the atmosphere - and not the food.

“Traditional Irish Pub and food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

My family and I have been looking for a good fish n' chip place in the Tampa are. We decided to try Four Green Fields. We do have small children so we were worried about the Pub atmosphere. We arrived at Four Green Fields on a Friday night around 6:30. The Pub was packed with people stopping by for a pint after work. It did have the jovial Pub atmosphere, but there was nothing that worried me for my children. The waitress was fast and friendly. My husband and I ordered Fish n' Chips with a salad. Our children got the soup and sandwich special (Reuben's and potato leek soup). The Fish n' Chips was good. They were both homemade, with homemade tartar sauce. The salad was nothing special but was also not bad. The Reuben's were yummy (our children loved them). The potato leek soup was homemade also, but was just a bit salty. By 8 pm the pub was clear of all the after work stoppers. We would definitely go back again, and try to miss the crowd. Friendly and good food.

“You are never alone when there is a good Irish Pub around.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2012

As an Orlando resident, I do not have a chance to visit Tampa as often as I like, but when I do, Four Green Fields is always on the list.

Adorned with a traditional thached roof (how does that make it through Florida summer storms), this bar is an open concept with dark wood bar and floors. Along the walls are pictures, poems, newspaper articles and various other items from Ireland. Perfect fodder if your companions are less than engaging or if you need some conversation topics. There is also a patio on the front and an outside area in the back if you want to have a beverage al fresco. They also bring in bands and live entertainment to amp up the fun.

This is an Irish pub, serving Irish Beer, whiskey and some Irish fare. Never had a bad drink from this place. My friends also say the food is good as well. If you are looking for an Irish pub to have a drink and to chat someone up, this is the place.
