We went here twice in one day- first at happy hour, when we didn't end up ordering anything on the happy hour menu, then late at night because the Blue Martini next door was too crowded. During our first visit we ordered their touted "loaded tater tots", which were just like what you can buy and make at home by adding some queso, jalapenos and green onion. Later that night we tried the truffle butter popcorn, which once again tasted like popcorn out of a bag with some parmesan cheese on top- no sign or taste of truffle oil. Although the bar wasn't that busy they had the music so cranked up that conversation was next to impossible without shouting, so we went to the nearby Pub and had a better experience.

“Not a good place for food, slow and inaccurate service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

The $1 burger is not what is sounds like. After reading the menu you find that it is actually closer to $6 plus the drink order to get the dollar burger will run you near $4, thus coming out to about $10 for a $1 burger.
Go to Too-Jays or the Pub or the Cheesecake Factory and get a real burger or sandwich with some good sides.
The Portobello was a gross, rubbery, slimy eel-like substance and probably isn’t considered food in most civilized countries that have electricity and running water. I realize that mushrooms are fungi, but imagine grilling up some YMCA shower mold and then adding lettuce, tomatoes and cheese for $.75 each. And, for some reason, even though the server wrote "tomato" on her pad, my burger did not have a "tomato" on it when it arrived to the table. Maybe the tomato grew tired of waiting and left out the back door. Or next time just be honest and tell me, "I am going to write tomato on my order sheet, but you wont be getting one on your burger. You have flooded my brain with your demands of lettuce and cheese."
The service was also slow and there were approximately 25-30 patrons when I was there and my food took a long time to arrive.

“Good Food, great service and atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

Come for the $1 burgers and stay for the music. We came with a large group, but found a table pretty quickly (it's seat yourself). Nachos came out very fats (before the drinks even) and were really yummy. We tries the burgers, $1. plain, minimal charges for things like cheese, mayo and onions. Pretty good, but kind of dry. We also tries the boneless wings and smothered tots - both really good. Draft beers were huge. We plan on coming back!

“Very Happenin' Happy Hour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

Stopped in for a few drinks on a Friday evening, before dinner. Atmosphere was fun, most everyone was dressed up, no dirt bags here! The young people in Tampa really take pride in their appearance! Service was excellent and prompt, although I think the Happy Hour Price drinks were a little weaker than their drinks normally are. All in all, GREAT place to go!!

“Good happy hour value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

$3 beers (40+ taps of fantastic microbrews) and 1/2 price appetizers. Our server was either having an off night or just wasn't into serving. Food was good (not great), but priced accordingly.
