“Beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Ybor - loud but beautiful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2011

This hotel is lovely and has free parking, which is a huge perk for the area. You are right in the heart of Ybor, so the weekend nights can be a bit noisy. We had a loud couple having a screaming fight at 2 am in the room next to us, but the staff took care of it immediately.

The hotel itself has an old world charm combined with modern renovations. I would absolutely recommend it to those who like boutique hotels.

Entire hotel is dusty and musky. Beds are like sleeping on concrete. The staff are a bunch of drunks and do not know how to run a business. Watch out for overcharges on the room rates! The room service will kick you out of the room before check out and leave your belongings in the hallway. This place is ridiculous, don't waste your money!!

3 of us from Toronto arrived at the Don Vincente Historic Inn, we were greeted by Damon and Lisa. Both were absolutely amazing and friendly! They made our entire stay totally worth while and definitely will return and stay here next time I'm in Ybor Tampa!

Fantastic hotel, MUST SEE!

Thanks again Damon and Lisa for your unforgettable service!

This is an historic hotel filled completely with charm! It's owners and staff included! I have stayed here a couple of times for extended stays and I don't know how anyone could write a bad review about this place! Damon and Tessa are amazing! I look forward to Tampa assignments just so that I can stay at this hotel. Staff is very knowledgable about the area and will guide you to best restaurants and specials! Loved the rooms and patio is a great place to relax and unwind. The owners really take pride in this property and it shows! Would ABSOLUTELY recommend.

We were invited to the wedding of a dear friend. Nuptials and reception all at the Don Vicente. Our room was large, bright, clean, decorated with class, relaxing and functional. The bathroom is over sized and we were two people getting ready for a wedding. It was perfect. We didn't get in each others' way, it was bright and there were two mirrors - functionality was wonderful.

There was a small desk for the lap top and ample outlets for charging, etc. I had a problem with the internet and it was addressed and fixed within minutes with so much class and poise it was refreshing.

The only suggestion we would make is to add a relaxing chair for the guests in room 314. There is certainly ample room and it would have proved to be very appreciated. Also, the beds were very comfortable as were the linens; however, our mattress was extremely high. A stool tucked under the bed would have been very beneficial. I can relate to short people having a problem, but I imagine a senior or a person with a bit of a disability having issues since it was very high up.

We felt very welcomed, relaxed and appreciated as guests. The rate was very reasonable and based on the aforementioned, we can't wait to return. It was quiet when we were there, during the week and due to the fact that the wedding guests reserved most of the rooms.

The staff was helpful right from the beginning, directing us to the best transportation to and from the airport, and I expect the same wonderful attention the next time around.

My husband, mother and I were there for three nights . We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are big and roomy good for my 90 year old mother who had a walker. The bathrooms are also large. We did miss having a restaurant there for there is no room service but there are plenty of restaurants near by. They have a breakfast buffet but it is limited. This hotel is great for catering an event. There are only 16 rooms in the hotel. This is not a modern hotel with shops and a lot of activity it is more old world. There is parking on the back no charge
