“Best movie theater in Tampa”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

Cinebistro is great. It has stadium seating, limited number of seats, few (if any) kids/teens, serve dinner/drinks (alcohol too) to you, and is clean. This is the best theater to see a movie in and not have to worry about teenagers on their phones or people talking during the flick. It is only a couple dollars more expensive but worth every penny. Plus, the food is good too!

“Make it Special”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

This was our first experience with Cinebistro. We were in Tampa for one night at a center city hotel and wanted to do something different. I actually found this place on Trip Advisor. The reviews were varied. You do not go to Cinebistro for the gourmet cuisine--you have to consider the entire package. Another big factor in the enjoyment quotient is the quality of the movie you select. There are at least three movie choices; each in a different auditorium. We selected "The Family" with Dinaro and Tommy Lee Jones. How could we go wrong? Well it's not a great movie. Now back to the package. The seating is exceptionally comfortable and spacious. You enter the auditorium 30 minutes before the start of the previews and sit in reserved seats you have booked on-line. There are special rates for Senior and Military that are not available on-line, but the theater will correct them when you show up at the box office. An extremely efficient and pleasant waitress will take your food and drink order (if you have a drink in the bar, bring it in) and deliver both before the start of the previews. If, during the movie, you want another drink you have to procure it from the bar. BTW, if you want popcorn or candy during the movie, your order it with your dinner. Also, BTW, you do not have to order food or drinks. This theater has a small free parking lot behind; and if you go early to get a spot, Hyde Park Village Shopping is across the street and a good pub right next door. Bottom line, did we enjoy the evening ? Yes, more if it had been a good movie! Would we go again? Yes, under certain conditions. We're not going to pay $50.00 for a movie we can see for $15.00 in very comfortable theaters. But for a special event, it could be a very nice evening.

“something was wrong with the food”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

I watched the film "Spectacular now" and I loved. Also the theatre is marvelous. However they need to pay attention with the cooker because something was wrong with my food. I couldn't sleep this night and I am feeling really bad. I hope they repair this problem because if this problem happened again they are going to loose a lot of clients.

“Great theater concept”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

This is a theater with a 21+ policy - so you can enjoy a movie without screaming kids and vacant parents. Now f only we can get adults to behave the way our mothers taught us... sigh.

The movie is seen from an extremely comfortable plush seat. If you want to sit in the front row they even provide that row Ottomans. I personally wished the seat went a couple of inches further back but really stopped noticing that 'flaw' after five minutes.

If you want - and arrive at least thirty minutes early - the staff will take your order and feed you dinner at your seat before vanishing when the previews start. Optionally you can eat in the lounge. Service is excellent in either locale, staff is friendly and helpful and if they didn't have a mandatory 7% tip built in I would have tipped higher.

The food is good and may be a little overpriced depending on what you think things should cost -- but it isn't out of line given the venue. They have a special deal on popcorn of all you can eat for 8 dollars.

It also features a full bar so you can drink what you like before, during and after the movie.

“Fun place for a film”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

A fun place to see an "event" type film. Very comfortable leather chairs. Good service. Food is actually decent and arrives quickly so you can eat before the movie begins. On the nights I have attended, everyone was respectful eaters - no chomp, chomp, chomp during silent parts.
